Major developments, such as the London Docklands Development Corporation, are concerned about the engineering properties of the underlying ground. Our experience includes the development of a geotechnical database system for the area developed by LDDC, describing both the distribution of the geological materials and their engineering properties.

Our continual appraisal of the area has led to the revision of the geology of east London and has major implications on the understanding of the geology of the London Basin. The work is included in the revised mapping of the area by the British Geological Survey.

Other extensive experience includes providing engineering geological consultancy to major sewer construction schemes, such as those in Ipswich, Sudbury, Clacton and the London Borough of Newham.
